WHY Education

To effectively address issues such as healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment, and human rights, initiating educational support for underprivileged children proves to be an optimal starting point. Education not only equips children with the tools for a secure future but also fosters their development as responsible citizens, both locally and globally. Despite the enactment of the Right to Education (RTE) Act in 2010, which mandated free and compulsory education for children aged 6-14, the educational progress for numerous children in the country remains uneven a decade later. Obstacles like the socio-economic circumstances of parents and inadequate learning environments in schools persist, preventing many children from accessing quality education.

WHAT WE DO

The primary goal of NGO Name’s prominent initiative, Mission Education, is to empower disadvantaged children through the provision of education, nutrition, and wellness support. This program is in harmony with the objectives outlined in the New Education Policy (2020) and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all). Mission Education focuses on children aged 3-18 who face challenging circumstances, including those from impoverished families, differently abled children, those affected by poverty, abandoned and street children, as well as those who are living in slum area or hard-to-reach locations.
